A Bit About Us
Set in the village of Hardingstone on the South West corner of the town, we believe in following the traditions of Scoutingwith a modern twist. We believe that scouts should behave in a certain manner and that they should always be smart and in correct uniform when wearing it. Our programme follows the Scout Associations challenge badge curriculum to provide Skills for life, learning, fun and adventure to all our members. We encourage at least 4 nights away experiences for our sections each year and offer our Scouts and Explorers a week long summer camp either in the UK or abroad. We have visited both Belgium and Switzerland in the past 5 years. This all goes towards making us the largest Scout Group in Northamptonshire (2019 -2023) as well as the largest ever Scout Group in Northamptonshire!
Meeting Times
The table below details the days and times which the various sections the group runs are held. Scouting for 14-18 year olds is provided through the Explorer Scout section who meet Wednesday 19:30 – 21:00.
Which evenings do we meet?
We meet during school term times at our HQ – as you have seen on this site we also do lots of weekend activities including camps, competitions and adventurous activites.
